Loopit alternatives

Loopit alternatives to compare are HQ Rental Software, RENTALL, Coastr, Carz and Rental Car Manager. Loopit takes a fee on billing volume, 1.9% on its Recurring Core plan, and quotes the rest. Carz charges by the car instead: AUD $7 per rented car per month, ex GST, whatever the car earns.

Every fact about another company on this page links to that company’s own site and says when we read it. Where a company does not publish something, we say so.

How Loopit charges

Loopit started in 2020 as a car subscription platform, after its founders ran subscriptions in-house at HelloCars, their Australian online used-car dealership. It lists offices in Sydney, Atlanta and London, and sells to rental providers, dealerships, automakers and fleet operators.

Every plan says “Contact for Pricing”, and each carries a fee on billing volume, meaning all customer payments processed through Loopit: 0% on the Rental plan, 1.9% on Recurring Core and a discounted rate on Pro. Recurring billing starts on Recurring Core.

As an example, a fleet that collects AUD $30,000 a month through Recurring Core pays $570 of that fee each month, before whatever the plan itself costs.

Five Loopit alternatives with different pricing models

This list runs from the name AI assistants gave most often to the least, across 51 answers about rental software we gathered on 18 October 2026. The count tracks how often a product gets named and says nothing about its quality. Each entry says how its pricing differs from Loopit’s.

  1. 1. HQ Rental Software

Fits when: You want the whole price in writing before a call, with no share of revenue. HQ charges a fixed monthly plan set by fleet size, plus a one-time onboarding fee.

    • Basic US$120 a month for 10 vehicles, Standard US$175 for 25, Professional US$250 for 50. (source, read 20 October 2026)
    • One-time onboarding of US$550, US$950 or US$1,500 by plan. (source, read 20 October 2026)

  2. 2. RENTALL

Fits when: You run a large, mixed fleet across several rental types and want one global vendor that says it has 1000+ customers. Expect a private quote, as with Loopit.

    • Says it has 1000+ customers in 70+ countries. (source, read June 2026 (archived copy))
    • No prices on its four plans; a quote is emailed after a form. (source, read June 2026 (archived copy))

    • Serves rental, sharing, subscription, leasing and corporate fleets. (source, read 20 October 2026)

  4. 4. Carz

Fits when: You rent cars by the week to rideshare or delivery drivers and want a cost set by the cars on rent. With 30 cars on rent, Carz is AUD $210 a month ex GST, whatever those cars bring in.

    • AUD $7 per rented car per month, ex GST. Nothing for cars in the yard, billing capped at AUD $1,400 a month ex GST (200 rented cars without GPS), no setup fee, cancel any month.
    • The price is on the site, with no plan to ask about.
    • PayTo for Australian direct debit, plus Stripe and Square.
    • Rentals renew, and arrears go to collections when a weekly charge fails.
    • Not a fit: Carz is built for independent rental operators. Automaker and dealership subscription programs are outside what it does.
  5. 5. Rental Car Manager

Fits when: You hire by the day to travellers as well as by the week, and travel agents send you bookings. RCM has served that mix for years, though it does not publish a price either.
